2nd Planners’ Forum within the project platform Capacity4MSP took place on 11 November 2020 online. Already as a traditional activity during the meeting was the exchange of the most pressing issues from each Baltic Sea Region’s country that was continued with broader discussions on the topics from agenda.

The 2nd Capacity4MSP project platform’s partner meeting was held online on 10 November 2020. During the meeting project partners shared the status update of project activities, discussed current issues for further project implementation. Main discussion topics are listed in this article.

On 22 September 2020, the SUBMARINER Network for Blue Growth EEIG organised an online discussion workshop ‘Offshore Energy and Maritime Spatial Planning’, on behalf of the Capacity4MSP project, together with WindEurope, EUSBSR Priority Area Energy, Baltic Energy Market Interconnection Plan (BEMIP) Renewable Energy Working Group, Vattenfall, and German and Estonian offshore wind energy associations.

Capacity4MSP project platform has been granted Flagship status by the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) under the Horizontal Action Spatial Planning. The decision was made at the online meeting on 29-30 June by the National Coordinators of the EUSBSR.
